Jewel Diamond Taylor (aka The Self-esteem Dr.) is based in southern California and an in-demand conference speaker, emotional wellness educator, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, life coach/counselor, spiritual faith builder, and author of several books.
Since the mid 80’s Jewel has empowered countless men and women to; tap into their own brilliance and personal power, heal emotional wounds, and transform their grief, depression, low self-esteem, procrastination, and fears into lives full of purpose, success, faith, service, abundance, wellness, and social activism.
At the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, Taylor curated her on-line master class "Diamond INNERversity." Her transformational study group continues to meet every Sunday virtually at 3 pm sharing pearls of wisdom of empowerment for participants to gain self-awareness, faith enrichment, emotional wellness, life skills, and strategies for successful living.
Dr. Taylor is a recipient of a 2021 Emmy for being a co-producer for a documentary covering her excursion to Norway to discuss world peace and race reconciliation.
Dr. Taylor is a local and international personal and professional development conference speaker and the Founder of Women on the Grow a 501c3 (a teaching and outreach ministry), The Women on the Grow mission is to serve and offer emergency funds, classes, programs, retreats, personal development materials, spiritual support and free counseling for women experiencing adversities (e.g. breast cancer, depression, caregiving exhaustion, grief, single parenting, trauma, displaced, etc.)
Taylor has been a guest speaker in 35 states, London, Brazil, Jamaica, The Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, The Virgin Islands, Cancun, St. Kitts, and hosted her first international Women on the Grow Leadership Conference in South Africa to celebrate Women’s History Month.
